Bizshark Scholarship Contest Deadline Approaching!

Bizshark Scholarship Contest Deadline Approaching!

There are only a few weeks left to apply for the inaugural Bizshark Startup Scholarship! You could win $1,000 to help you with college expenses – from books to tuition – just for giving us your story. As you know, Bizshark’s big on business. We love nurturing the startup community and we’re always supportive of ambitious students working to further their education. The Bizshark Startup Scholarship is an annual essay competition and this year you’ve got the opportunity to be our first winner.

How do you enter?

We’re so glad you asked. You’ve got to meet our eligibility guidelines which require you to be a current or upcoming student or at a 2 or 4-year college or university and have at least a 3.0 GPA. We’d especially love to hear from you if you’re majoring in business, management, accounting, or even getting your MBA, but we encourage all students to apply. Remember that your essay needs to be your own work and that it should be between 1,000-1,500 words. We’ll be judging based on originality, style, creativity, and your persuasiveness so be sure to give us everything you’ve got.

What should you write about?

Great question. We want to know how you foresee technology changing the way we all do business in the future? Give us examples, use your own experiences, or tell us your opinion. Bizshark is heavily committed to making business easier using the power of big data and we want to hear your thoughts. Don’t forget to submit your essay using our handy-dandy submission form… it’s the only way we’ll accept them! We don’t want to waste time opening envelopes and sorting through papers when we could be reading the beginnings of the Next Great American Novel (Hint: it’s your essay.)

All submissions for the Bizshark Startup Scholarship are due on July 15th so start writing now! The sooner you send us your entry the more time you’ll have to dream about what you’ll do with all that sweet, sweet scholarship prize money. We suggest buying some books.
